ABOUT SARAH
Handmade By Sarah, as the name suggests provides a range of quality products designed and made by Sarah.
Sarah has been involved with horses all of her life, so her knowledge of good quality, strong leather and good workmanship was her starting point. Using traditional hand tools and skills of the English Saddlery Trade, Sarah designs and hand stitches her work to the highest standard. She sources the best quality leathers from tanneries in Britain, ensuring the quality is kept consistent with her exacting standards. We are very proud that products are British made sourcing the hides and buckles from suppliers in England.
A course with David May of the Cumbria School of Saddlery in 2016 aided Sarah to start up her small business giving her many skills and an eye for fine detail. She now works from her studio in North Yorkshire.
Handmade By Sarah provides a bespoke service and has a growing number of delighted clients as word spreads amongst people who care about design and quality.
Handmade By Sarah often has a stand at craft fairs and agricultural shows in Yorkshire. Sarah thoroughly enjoys those days meeting you and especially when the sun is shining!
